( Audio) – Kingzkid Release – Ocean Wave

4956

Isaiah 6:8 Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.

In walking with God and fulfilling His purpose , there are many challenges and storms that pop up along the way,but who you have in your boat during the storm is most important. If it’s Jonah, then that boat will sink,

But if it’s Jesus Christ, one word from him will calm every storm. Do the seas may rage, you’ll sail smoothly through the ocean waves.

Lyrics

SEND ME WHERE You WANT I’ll go where you want me to

Even through the storms I know you will sail me through  2x

I’ll go wherever you lead me

Just send me whenever you need me Lord 2x

You called me out right upon the waters

And there I find you in the mystery

In oceans deep

My faith will stand

I’m loving you

Your loving me

In oceans deep

My faith will stand

Your Grace abounds

Your love surrounds

You are my God

You are my God

You’re always right there

Right there with me

You are my God

You are my God

You’re always right there

Right there So I…

CHORUS

Slide to the left

Slide to the right

Two steps back

Do the ocean wave 3x

Ocean Wave Ocean Wave Ocean Wave

How I Met Joe Mettle – Luigi Maclean

DsxUCLQWwAIEyO1

Luigi Maclean is one young Ghanaian gospel musician from the camp of Joe Mettle Ministries who was nominated as the Male vocalist of the year category in 2019 during the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards. He is a graduate of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science And Technology (KNUST) with a degree in Geography and environmental science.

Speaking with Levin Lartey of Online Christian Gospel ( OCG NEWS ) Luigi shares how he was connected to his destiny helper who by the Grace and will of God has gotten him to the level in his career.

Luigi Maclean on the Joe Mettle Ministries – I have worked and served at the Joe Mettle Ministries for almost ten years after I completed KNUST. My first contact with Joe was when I backed him during a campus program organized by the university alongside Koomson, who was a senior colleague and now my manager. Koomson invited me over to join the Backing Vocalists for Joe Mettle in his first album ‘ My Gratitude’. During the rehearsal session and conversation with Joe Mettle, the Father and Mentoring relationship grew so strong and I was ready to learn, to be shaped, and prepared for full-time ministry after working with Enterprise Insurance for some time.

My experience working with Joe Mettle.

There is nothing too different about working with Joe Mettle aside tapping into the Grace and the Excellent spirit he has. That is to say, as a student, there are hard times and fun times but the mixture of the two makes it all perfect. I am a son to Joe Mettle and God has it all planned. There are times I will think I have been able to achieve my goals but Joe will tell me there is more to do!! , There are moments when he will allow me to do everything but will pay close attention and correct me after. Joe Mettle treats his backing vocalists as a family when we are off duties and ‘looks at no face’ when working.

My advice to the upcoming gospel artistes.

There is no one thing to a successful music career but a combination of the Calling, Humility, Loyalty, Hard Work, being teachable, always being empty and ready to be filled by the people who are ahead of you. I am a Backing Vocalist and a Song Writer but I don’t depend on my gift but rather on the one who has given me the gift, and that is God; I seek His directions and not trends and I also learn from my father Joe Mettle. People should also know that we have different paths through the same calling, so identify who you are and where to step or not. There is nothing like an up and coming gospel artiste to me but the question is, are you able to achieve what God has given you personally even if it’s in a small way? The act of serving is a key component for a breakthrough in life and not just music; we should therefore always be ready to serve people who are ahead.

736206784_887267

One of the main takeaways of Merck Foundation’s annual conference held in October 2019 in the capital city of Ghana, Accra was the release of a song that aims at empowering African girls and women in education and to motivate them to pursue their dreams and reach their potential.

The song which was a partnership between Merck Foundation and the First Lady of Ghana, Rebecca Akufo-Addo was composed and sang by Ghanaian musicians; Cwesi Oteng and Adina.

If you may recall, one of the strategies of Merck More Than a Mother campaign is to use songs of this nature to reach the public, to educate and empower them as well as break the stigma of infertility.

Dr. Rasha Kelej, CEO of Merck Foundation and President of Merck More Than a Mother who was the brains behind the song has also created similar ones in other local languages in different countries.

Speaking to the media after the conference, Dr. Rasha Kelej said: “This song especially is a very special song as it communicates the key message of ‘Merck More Than a Mother’ that women are more than just mothers. They are integral and indispensable members of society. Through this song, we have tried to portray the different roles women are playing and can play in our society. Through this song, I want to give out a message to all the girls to be dedicated and step into frontiers that are male-dominated. You can be a Doctor, Engineer, Judge, Scientist, Pilot, Banker, Investor, Minister, and President. Believe in yourself, you can advance our Africa.”

Meanwhile, the over 1000 healthcare providers, policymakers and media from 60 countries who attended the conference welcomed the song and commended everyone behind its composition.

Adina, Cwesi Oteng’s video below

About ‘Merck More Than A Mother’ campaign

‘Merck More Than A Mother’ initiative aims to empower infertile women through access to information, education and health and by changing mind-sets. This powerful initiative supports government in defining policies to enhance access to regulated, safe and effective fertility care. It defines interventions to break the stigma around infertile women and raises awareness about Infertility, prevention and management. In partnership with academia, ministries of health and international fertility societies, the initiative also provides medical education and training for healthcare providers and embryologists to build and advance fertility care capacity in Africa and developing countries.

‘Merck More Than A Mother’, has initiated a cultural shift to de-stigmatize infertility on all levels: by improving awareness, training the skills of local experts, building advocacy in cooperation with decision-makers and by supporting childless women in starting their own small business. It’s all about giving every woman the respect and the help she deserves to live a fulfilling life, with or without a child.
